New CSS/html tools?..

FWIW I use Eclipse for *everything*. There are tons of plugins
available (sftp, PDT and subclipse (svn) among my personal favourites),
it's free, open-source and runs on *nix or windows. Only downside I'm
aware of is that it's a memory pig so you need a decent rig to run it
well.

Worth checking out unless you're java-averse and/or *just* want an
editor and not an IDE.
