...i think there are subtle differences of the winie's across
the os's, but i haven't found the smoking gun to prove it,
and unless bill sends me a cheque i have neither the
hardware nor the time to find out.
has anyone been keeping track of these differences?
perhaps a subgroup of css-discuss posters could form to
represent the various win combinations, and then run a
common test suite and report?
i remember when i upgraded 95 to 98 eons ago, ie5
seemed to have different proportional jumps in the
browser's text sizing function. at the time that just
convinced me to go with px instead, and i really regret not
making proper notes.
