I saw the neatest list the other day on a site I can't remember, and I'd
like to try to do the same thing on a site I'm working on.
Basically they had - somehow - taken the list numbers and set them as
sort of a large background. It wasn't an image - it was the actual
number from the ordered list, just made HUGE and set in a light color,
and as a faux-background, with the line item content sort of overlaying it.
I also noticed that the number itself had no period - i.e. "1" instead
of "1."
I thought it was cool and I *thought* it'd be easy to do, so I didn't
bookmark the site (duh, me!) and now I can't seem to figure out how they
did it. I'm *positive* it was done, somehow, using CSS.
Would anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this?
