Here, I can help. If you have something that works in Moz (standards mode)
and Opera but only works in quirks mode for IE there are a couple of
different doctypes that might be useful. The one that springs to mind
immediately is to use XHTML with an XML declaration at the top. This will
trigger quirks in IE6 and standards in everything else. There's a listing
of different doctypes and what mode they trigger here:
