Hi all - So I have this problem, and I found a fix. Now I'm looking for *why.* Here's the site: www.thenestedfloat.com Here's the css: http://www.thenestedfloat.com/wp-content/themes/ThickFloat/style.css On my blog, any time I use a blockquote, all text in the left column that follows the blockquote has its margins re-rendered in IE6. The result is that the left side of that main content column is clipped. The fix was to trigger hasLayout on the blockquotes - I used height: 1%; So without seeing the problem in action, is there anyone that has insight into the *why* of this? Why does an element not having layout impact the flow of the rest of the document? I wish there was some way I could mark a list post as "low priority," as this is a question of purely academic interest. Thanks!
