[css-d] OT: DOS sequence to escape space in filename

Sent by Tuttle Grey on 28 June 2002 15:03

Sorry, I know this is woefully OT. But, I am unable to find the answer and I
need it now, and I figured some smart cookie in this list would know it.

I need to access a CD-ROM from DOS. The directory I need to access has a
space in its filename, as in "this name". What sequence is used in DOS to
escape a space in a filename?

(I need to change directory into this directory, using command "cd", but I
can't because of the space in the filename.)
