CSS-based image maps and IE6

First I gave it a 5px green solid border to localize the links. Then I 
noticed that only this test border was clickable. So there had to be 
"something" to click on (even if the bg-img gives a 404).

Hooly&John use a bgfix.gif background image to fix a hover problem with 
the tolerance zones for shaky hands here

But there must be another solution:
If I remove your preceding, underlying
<img src="partners.jpg" alt="TSC Group partners">
the links become clickable without this bg-img fix. Same in Op9.01mac here.
