I used WFW 1.0 (Web Font Wizard 1.0) to generate
PFR(portable Font Resource) in Macintosh 9.2.2
Operating System. I generated PFR file from the TTF
file. I used that generated PFR to view my font in the
Netscape4.76 (in WinNT 4.0 Operating System).
Some(19 glyphs) glyphs are missing in the PFR, means i
am not able to see those glyphs in the Netscape4.76
browser(in WinNt4.0 OS).
I came to know (by searching in the internet) that
this problem occurs if the PFR is not generated
proberly. I regenerated the PFR (in Macintosh 9.2.2 OS
using WFW1.0) using TTF file and used in Netscape4.76
browser(in WinNt4.0 OS). But in vain.
What are the necessary steps to be followed while
generating PFR to stop such probles(missing glyphs
problem)?
or
Is this because of the TTF file i used? What type of
TTF's should be used to generate proper PFR?
or else
Is there any other way to solve this problem?
