Thanks for testing. When the page is loaded/reloaded there is (correctly) a space (70px) between the orange and the blue box. As soon as I move the mouse over the first anchor ("hover me") the space disappears. If you don't see the problem, maybe I've a broken installation? (my Opera9 is build 8501, as yours.)
