Shelly, Frankly, I'd just lay the whole thing out with old-school tables. Bust out the Nirvana and Pearl Jam cds, dust off the David Siegel book, create a single-pixel gif or 3, and have at it. Think of it as an exercise in appreciation for how far we've come. Seriously, it's for somebody's intranet, right? They've got a whole bunch old computers around, and they're all running IE4?
