Their claim is wrong. Their example doesn't work on Safari 1.1, 1.2,  
1.3, 2.03 and nightly builds of WebKit.

Hmm, their next example seems to work, but it is a bit of a hack  
(manipulating the display property of thead and tbody) and I wouldn't  
put much faith in.
