I imagine you are talking about the stock market table near the top of
the page. Sorry to say, neither scrollbar has any effect in Opera 8.5 (on
Win XP). As I have come late in the game to JavaScript, I have only
learned modern DOM scripting. Never used document.write, iframes, etc.
so am not able to help there.
Stu Nicholls has a pure CSS solution for a vertically scrolling table; I
have not come across a solution for horizontal scrolling though:
