Float image in bottom-right of div with word wrap

Sent by benjy rose :: B:COMPLEX Creative on 21 March 2006 15:03

Howdy...I'm trying to get an image to anchor to the bottom-right of a div,
with the text wrapping above it and to the left of it, kinda like so:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx +------------------+
xxxxxxxx | |
xxxxxxxx | |
xxxxxxxx | |
xxxxxxxx+------------------+

By trying float:right in various orders and configurations, I'm able to get
this:

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx +------------+
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx | |
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx | |
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx +------------+

or this:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
                      +------------+
                      | |
                      | |
                      +------------+

But not the desired result. I know I can put the img tag in the middle of
the text so that it basically top-aligns with a specific paragraph, but I'd
rather be able to place it at the beginning or end of the div and keep it
flush with the bottom of the text area. 20 minutes of web searching turned
up nada, so I come humbly to thee...

Thanks in advance,
benjy
