body: margin=0 and padding=0, not working in Firefox or Opera - Problem solved

Sent by SED on 20 March 2006 00:12

I found out why the extra empty line showed up in Firefox and Opera. The
margin and padding for
tag must also be set to zero, not only
.
Weird, but it works.

Thanks,

Try altering your body's top padding to 1px and see if anything changes.
If so, you have a margin that's protruding from the body element, which is
entirely possible. Without a URL demonstrating the problem, though, that's
just a guess.
