I have a follow-up. Rahul suggested that I could fix the long link
list with a width. At first it didn't work, then it occurred to me
to separate the

with a line return, and like magic, that
worked. (So thanks Rahul!)
Still having trouble with IE on Mac for the links in the upper right
corner. I started commenting things out, trying to find the problem,
and when I remove the background-color, they show up (weird). I
tried changing their color to inherit, which didn't make them vanish,
but when the div they are located in is uncommented, they disappear
again (and it needs its background color, so I don't know how I can
work around that).
I realize that I didn't give the link to the style sheets (it's only
one, but just in case it helps)

Thanks again for any help!
