Gmail's CSS for expanding subject lines

Sent by Carl Youngblood on 23 February 2006 22:10

I'm trying to figure out how Gmail does the CSS for the expanding subject
lines on emails in a list. It's great because you can stick items in what
appears to be a table but not worry about having them be too big. If the
user's browser is larger, they can see the whole thing. If it's smaller,
they only see what fits in the visible area of the table column. Does
anyone have a good suggestion for how to do this?

Thanks,
Carl
