Thanks.
That's actually my browser/OS too, so I guess it's sort of optimal under it :)

Hmm... okay, not a bad idea. When you say 'use this color for the updates too,' do you mean the
mouseover color?

This is a very good idea, but I'm finding it a tad hard to implement. One problem is that if I put
the titles of the files in a different font/size/weight than the rest of the text, then it looks a
little strange next to the file's author, which is written right next to it - the difference becomes
apparent, and things like differing text heights give a visual weirdness.
One possible solution would be moving the author's name down to the column of data where I have the
other info (size, format, etc.) instead of where it is now... that might work. Or I could put the
author in the same appearance as the title, but then it might seem like I was putting undue emphasis
on it, and again, look weird. Hmm.

Good call. Should have thought of that.
>"Because Bandwidth Is Expensive?" looks too small on my Mac.
It is small.
I've been kind of trying to avoid dealing with that, but I really should address it... the main
issue is that the headers (both of them, the site name and the slogan) are just that, headers, and
as such, I've been trying to convince myself not to put them in a relative font size. Mainly, they
just seem a tad odd when they get bigger or smaller, even when remaining in proportion to the rest
of the page.
As for the "Because Bandwidth is Expensive", well, it IS supposed to be small - it's a totally
insignificant thing, after all, and I set it at 9px - but I should finally admit that it's too
small, I think.
I might still like to keep the sized fixed, but it ought to be fixed larger.
>It's aligned left in NC 4.7
It sure is, and it's sure annoying. I keep trying to find a way to fix that, but it doesn't want
to. Some other of the css-d folks suggested text-aligning the body element to center, then
text-aligning the content div as left, and I wanted it to work, but... it didn't. Neither does
giving the div an align="center" attribute.
Has anybody else experienced this problem when (trying to) aligning a block in NS? If so, how did
you get around it? Or did you? (the page is still readable like that, it's just uglier than hell).
Thanks! :)
