You need to add a height: 100%; to the body, and then it will extend
all the way to the bottom of the screen.
Also, the white background image isn't showing up because your
relative URL is wrong: it should have only one period instead of two.
And repeat-x makes it repeat left to right; repeat-y will make it
repeat down the page.
