You have managed to solve so many of my problems without my having even to
pose most of my questions. Serendipitously (is that a word?) many issues
have come up at the time I had a similar query. Problem solved before even
asking.
One observation/tip - dealing with other CSS difficulties, I prepared a
cut-down version to post before asking this list. This example that I
prepared gave me the clue to a solution. Again, problem solved without my
even asking.
