CSS Problems - layout

Chris,
This sort of similar to what I guess you are talking about. Maybe you 
can adapt it to meet your need. Note that the file is in quirks mode, 
uses min-max widths; and that the IE garbage is in conditional comments.
The trick is to code for the good guys, and hack the 'evil one.'
