Sam, I, too, am seeing MIME type of text/css. All I can think of is that
the validator no longer recognizes the path to your style sheets. Try
deleting the leading dot-slash from the front of your paths and see whether
the validator works with that. Just groping in the dark here.
BTW - you may like to specify a background color in the default style. The
default background set on my browser rather clashes with the other colors.
