cell spacing - how do you write this in css?

table {border-collapse:separate; border-spacing: 1em 2em /* left-right 
and top-bottom*/}
will give a 1 em value space on the left and right of each table cell, 
2 em space at top and bottom.

*Not* supported by IE win [1].

[1] <table cellspacing="5"> is perfectly valid (x)html.
