Headers and footers

I think you want server side includes. No time to elaborate (and anyway I 
guess it's off-topic), but if you google it I'm sure you'll find something :-)

Just a note on the site - it took a few seconds for the page background to 
appear and frankly I was enjoying it a lot more before it did! The effect 
could still work - try reducing the image's opacity and make it more subtle?

Good clean, accessible html/css though.
