Safari, table cells, and overflow:hidden

Thank goodness for Google on the W3! [2] Unfortunately, it appears
that it defines what indicators should appear if text should overflow
its container, versus dictating how the text itself overflows. It
hasn't yet been included in the latest draft[3], so it may be too soon
to tell.
