Me neither. But my remark about using "float" without "width" was not
limited to CSS2 browsers...
When I said it was not "safe", I meant regarding browsers compatibility in
general, not assuming which browsers the OP was targeting...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that if you want to display links
side by side using "float" and "display:block", but do *not* specify an
*explicit* width then IE*6* may go ballistic (same behavior as MSIE5 Mac).
