Hi all,
I've got a prototype here:
http://www.eatsmartmovemorenc.com/panstaging/
The CSS is here:
http://www.eatsmartmovemorenc.com/panstaging/stylesheets/PANmain.css
The problem is this:
The three floated columns are enclosed in a container div called
#divPagebody. This div has a background that should put column divisions
all the way down the page (a dotted red line to divide each column).
However, the background is not showing up.
When I put a border around #divPagebody to check it, it has no height at
all (which explains why its background is not visible).
#divPagebody should be automatically stretched to the height of the
longest floated column (shouldn't it?) and the background ought to
stretch all the way down to the footer (oughtn't it?).
I have the nagging suspicion that I'm overlooking something terribly
obvious.
TIA,
linda
