Well, doing what I suggested earlier:

#masthead a { border: none; }

plus this:

#footer a { border: none; }

.... should accomplish that.

But it shouldn't be necessary. I'm trying to figure out why your .bodytext 
link styles seem to have commandeered your masthead and footer.
