Yes, Opera doesn't like to change the document flow on encountering
pseudo-classes.

I see the stylesheet also contains

#menu div.navitemon a {
        display: block;
[..]

which looks like a typo - if the selector was "#menu div.navitem a" it
would work in Opera.
