I wouldn't be so quick to make that assumption. While they come from
the same code base, and theoretically should behave similarly, the
Safari folks seem to be more agressive about addressing bugs (that's
just an opinion, but being able to fund a team of engineers to work on
the project full time will have that effect). The Apple code
eventually gets worked into the KHTML code, but there can be
differences in the meantime.
