I found the StyleMaster resources excellent. Not only the StyleMaster itself but the excellent tutorials that they have available, easy to follow and gives you a great background and not that expensive. http://www.westciv.com/ I know it is a commercial product but this is what I used to learn CSS and I found it excellent. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL-REMOVED] [EMAIL-REMOVED]]On Behalf Of BJ Sent: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 11:28 AM To: [EMAIL-REMOVED]; [EMAIL-REMOVED] Subject: RE [css-d] Learning CSS "Im new to CSS, and I have been buying a lot of books . . . If there is a website that would help," <http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/> Good site overall, with tutorials for styling lists, for understanding selectors and for understanding floats. And I think most of us on this list have used a Listamatic List at one time or another. <http://www.brainjar.com/css/positioning/default.asp> Good article on the basics of positioning. <http://www.quirksmode.org/> The CSS section is a good place to poke around when you're having a problem, but also a good read for how to avoid some of them. <http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/css/index.html> Good resource for finding out what works in what browser. That should get you started, I should think. ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL-REMOVED]] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/ ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL-REMOVED]] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
