There are bookmarklets or browser extensions like the Firefox
Webdeveloper toolbar that allow you to see generated code. It is a table
with a lot of embedded styles and visual attributes, so there is not
much chance to overwrite it with CSS. On the adsense page you can choose
the colour scheme you want to use, this should be enough to make it fit.
This example was generated on one of my sites:

Things to consider:
- It might be not allowed by Google to style the ads differently (check
the adsense page)
- Visitors know by now how google ads look like, if you style them
differently they may be confused or even feel cheated when the link
turns out to be not yours.
-As the links are third party content, it is a good idea to make them
look different.
