If I need a page to be either a fixed height or able to be height
adjusted based on content what would be the best way to do this? I'm
doing a build for a company and they said depending on what the client
wants it needs to be able to change easily.
He told me this when I first met with him but I forgot and made the
whole background of the container one image and absolutely positioned
everything on top of it. I have one div in the center with overflow:
auto that holds text and if text becomes more than the height of the div
a scrollbar appears.
But, like I said, he wants it to be easily flexible for the whole
background to expand if more content is added. I know I could do this
with the faux column method and I have used faux columns several
times...Just wondering how I can make the code adaptable in case of
either choice by the client.
Can I do a fixed height faux column and if needs to be expandable just
remove the container height?
I wish they would just find out what the client wants but he said it
still needs to be adaptable.
Thanks
