Then that *would* be at the bottom of the page, it's just that the page is
shorter than the window.
It might help you to more clearly define what you want to achieve. I *think*
that what you want is:
- render an element at the bottom of the canvas, except...
- when the page content is shorter than the viewport, render that element at
the bottom of the viewport.
Getting the right terminology may help you in your search for a solution.
