A 50% transparent gif does look bad. Using an 80% transparent will look
a little better because it isn't 1-0-1-0, but rather 0-0-0-0-1 and
scewed 2 pixels on each line. You can pick up the idea from my page
below, where I use it as ice-blue background. Doesn't look too bad
there, me thinks. :-)
