Well, if it works for you, it should work for me. So I tried again. I
had at first put the call in an imported css file. This time I put
the call directly in the page and, lo and behold, it worked (tested
in IEWin5.0, 5.5 and 6.0). I put the call back into the imported file
and, well, it worked "slowly" when the .htc file was at the same
level as the calling css file and didn't work when the .htc file was
in another directory (I fixed the path of course).
I think this may be because I'm using Virtual PC on a Mac: everything
is much slowed down and this may at some point cause the JScript to
skid to a halt. The JScript seems very sluggish even in your
css-flyout demo. Anyway, the point is, hovers right in the middle do
work with the script.
By the way, your demo says there is some fix for IEMac. What should I
see? I didn't see anything but the first level menu (in IEMac 5.1 on
Classic OS9 and IEMac 5.2 on OSX).
