I've noticed a problem with Firefox (1.0 on Windows XP Professional)
not finding/rendering the Webdings font, while Firefox (1.0 on Mac OS
10.3.7) has no problem rendering from the same markup. I'm sure
Webdings is installed on the XP machine I'm using, because Internet
Explorer 6 is showing the page as expected.
Example: <http://www.williamsauction.com/ca_all.php> -- There should be
up arrows and down arrows at the top of each column, but the Webdings
font isn't being used in Firefox, which shows "5" and "6". I've tried
specifying the font with an inline style in a span -- still doesn't
work.
Is this a bug in the Windows version of Firefox? Ideas about how to
spec the font differently?
