RE: [css-d] How to replaces tables/frames with CSS?

Actually, this will work. I forgot I had already done this once before:

	<style type="text/css">
	body {
		margin: 0;
		width: 100%;
		height: 100%; }

	#top {
		position: relative;
		width: 100%;
		height: 100px;
		background-color: green; }

	#left {
		position: relative;
		float: left;
		width: 20%;
		background-color: gray; }

	#main {
		position: relative;
		float: right;
		width: 80%;
		background-color: red; }

	#footer {
		position: relative;
		clear: both;
		width: 100%;
		background-color: yellow; }
	</style>

Here's my current css. Passes the W3C validator but doesn't
work. The "internal" (left) pane floats to the bottom, not the
left.

body {
	margin: 0;
	padding: 10px;
	background-color: white;
	color: black;
	font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif;
}
content
{
	width:default;
	padding-bottom:5px;
	float:right;
}
internal
{
	width:100px;
	padding-right:5px;
	float:left;
}
top
{
	height:10%;
	padding-bottom:5px;
	padding-top:none;
	margin-top:none;
}
bottom
{
	height:10%;
	padding-top:4em;
}
a.previous
{
	display:block;
	width:48%;
	float:left;
	font-size:0.9em;
}
a.next
{
	display:block;
	width:48%;
	float:right;
	text-align:right;
	font-size:0.9em;
}
left h3.currentsection
{
	color:#FBFBD0;
	background-color:#2F2F0B;
}
