IE (Win/MAC) layout problems

Sent by Faust Gertz on 7 February 2005 23:11

I am attempting to CSSify <http://sports.luther.edu/> and have run into
some stumbling blocks <http://prototype.luther.edu/>. I seem to have it
working in Firefox, IE6, and Safari. IE5.x for Windows and Mac is
causing me some problems.

IE MAC

In the #content div, the #left div is positioned below the #right
floated div.

The spacing in the top navigation bar is about double what it is for
other browsers.

IE5.x Windows

The drop down menus (which utilize 'csshover.htc') are nudged over to
the right by about 10 pixels creating a black line on the left hand side
of the drop down.

For IE5.0, the buttons have gaps in between them which I have tried to
hide by giving the container a black background.

Any tips or hints would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Faust
