Not addressing any of the problems you wrote about, here are few
suggestions on the home page:
The content text is not zooming, and all the other fonts are going goofy
on zoom, and breaking the layout in XP_SP2 IE6.0. While some structural
changes are perhaps in order, these quick fixes help a little:
Reset body font-size 1em to 100.01%.
Change the inline style letter-spacing to 0.3em (and move the inline
styles to an external style sheet).
Change the the font-size and line-height on p from pixels to 1em/1.4em
Delete the letter-spacing on h1 and #content h1.
On #freelancealot:
delete float right, margin-right, and margin-top -10px.
change text-align from right to left.
