You know what? I spent about two hours trying to get this working,
walked away for a quick break, came back, said "screw it", and put it
into a table.
The information semantically fits in a table, anyway, so it still
passes in my book. At the end, it comes down to "do I want to spend
four hours trying to get this work without using a table, even though
the information being presented probably would be displayed in a table,
anyway?"
Onward and upward.
