Abyss actually passed better then what I thought it did. BJ I am still a bit befuddled..by the "out flanking" of the right hand side for the menu becaus it is 20% of the page...so go figure.... it is hardly noticable until someone points it out..then you cant miss it... I guess when one works in 1280x1024 res , you dont notice the size much...even though it is test in 8x6 res... Thanks for the screen shot of abyss..do you mind if put them on my website? (that is a request for copyright permission to use them) they were great Jim No id din't know about the quirk mode...do you have any more information about that? and what do you mean by quirk... I do not understand the sentence "In FF 1.0 on a win XP Pro SP2 box with a screen res of 800x600 the right hand nav links are dead flush with the right edge of the view port. In IE 6.0 there is some space between the view port edge and the links.... at 1024x768 IE also shoves the right hand links hard against the view port edge and the font is small and hard (for me) to read." Would you be able to give me some screen shots if possible...should you have a spare 5 minutes?
