Problems with menu in IE

Sent by Sarah Atkinson on 1 February 2005 18:06

ok I had a great menu set up only problem was it was to big and required all this scrolling. So I
tried to do a modified Suckerfish. I made the menu vertical and the list expanded and collapsed.
This worked great until you actually tried to use it and the links kept jumping around as you tried
to select them--not good. So I'm modifying a menu I got from
http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/tutorials/testMenu.html

The Menu works great in FireFox. but IE 6 is another issue. I have JavaScript to compensate for IE
not supporting the ">" and it displays the menu just fine. The problem arises when you try to select
something in the menu it disappears. If you try really hard you can select 3 of the links but as
soon as you roll off it disappears.

Another problem I'm having is in FireFox. Under the Volunteer menu there is a gap where the text
underneath shows though. I can't figure out why it does this and why it is isolated to just that one
spot.
