Actually, on IE 6 it changes the situation. It is best to specify both the
URL of a demo document and the browser(s) used for testing, when reporting
a problem.
On Mozilla Firefox, you also need to set
vertical-align: bottom
for the img element. Otherwise the browser treats the image as a "letter"
vertically aligned to the baseline of text, which means that some space is
left below it for descenders.
