Ok, I've worked up some examples that show the ins and outs of the Table Caption complete with browser rendering bugs in IE and Firefox. Hoo ha, fame and fortune will now be mine... http://www.aurora-il.org/testsite/table_test.htm Note I've only tested these tables on IE6 and Firefox 1.0 running under Windows 2K PC. I'll try to test against Opera and NN7 when I get a chance. All of the CSS is on the page. If anyone wants to test these tables on browsers other than the four I mentioned above, or on unix/linux/mac, feel free. LMK the results and I'll add them to the page.
