Not sure what the error is about, sorry, but both your style sheets
validate perfectly well when you target the style sheets **absolutely**,
e.g. validate http://afta.furfly.net/templates/dropdowns2.css and the
other one.
All seems okay from that aspect, so I'd relax knowing that your style
sheets are okay and wait for someone with a little more experience than
me so find the actual problem! Maybe try giving each LINK tag a title
for clarification? I'm a user of XHTML transitional, so maybe the STRICT
is fouling up somewhere? My two cents.
