You have 101 validation errors on your front page, mostly stemming from 
the fact that you have an XHTML doctype but seem to be writing HTML, not 
XHTML.

Your CSS could be simplified a great deal by using shorthand and setting 
font properties on the body, that type of thing.  This article should help:

I'm not seeing this problem.  The page looks the same on IE and FF to me.

One other thing: to start a new thread, don't reply to an existing 
message.  This threads your message on to the old thread, which messes 
up the archives and makes it harder for others to find your message and
