Layout problem in IE5Mac

Sent by Mike Davies on 20 January 2005 12:12

Hello,

I have an odd problem with a site I am designing. I am trying to use
only css for layout and am using a basic layout I used successfully for
another site. However I now get an odd layout when viewing in IE5/Mac.

The site looks fine in Opera and Firefox but in IE5/Mac the content of
the left and centre columns are pushed across to overlap the images on
the right-hand side. I can get it to position correctly if I put a 1px
border round the divs, there is a rule in the css which I use for this
purpose which is normally set to 0px, but without the border it looks
wrong. It works OK in Opera and Firefox with and without the border.

I hope it is just a simple matter to cure this, any suggestions welcome.
