If you are looking for a JavaScript solution and if you use Dreamweaver, 
you might try http://www.projectseven.com/viewer/index.asp?demo=tmm. 
(Props Al :0)You can also alter the CSS to style the menu to your 
liking. There are any number of similar JavaScript solutions available 
that can pull this off.

It can also be done with just CSS, but altering or changing content 
dynamically is really a job better suited to the DOM.
