[css-d] CSS-Menu Design Browser-Compability Problem

Sent by Dennis Gaida on 17 April 2002 22:10

Hi everybody,

On my test-page I tried I new design with CSS. I included several IE hacks, as they were on Eric
Meyer Webpages, or wherever they were ;) My problem now is that the menu only looks good in IE. When
I try in Opera the menu-layer is note even there where its supposed to be, and the text flows oever
the menu itself.
Mozilla has the text-overflow bug too. If you move over an element there's a little pop-up under
the menu, like a tooltip. IE shows it properly, Mozilla makes it too long and Opera doesn't show
anything. I had that popup from css/edge.

I hope you guys can help me somehow and make the menu look a little bit better in Mozilla and
Opera.

If my whole code is messed up... give me hints :) I'm really open to anything.

Sincerely yours,
Dennis Gaida
