Thanks for the response. Yeah, I am aware of the cache setting issue -
I have IE set to check for newer versions "Automatically" which AFAIK is
the default. I had friends check the page, and they saw the flicker
too, so I don't think it's just me.
I'll try the workarounds, but one question first - did you test running
XP with Service Pack 2 installed? I ask because I am thinking that IE
might override the cache setting when on https under SP2 -- there are
some similar security-related features introduced with SP2, but I was
unaware of this.
